Buffalo Chickpea Sliders
Ingredients for buffalo chickpeas
3, 15 oz cans no salt added chickpeas
5 Tbsp buffalo sauce
4 Tbsp mayo
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp onion powder
½ tsp pepper
All you need for sauce:
2/3 cup mayo
1 ½ Tbsp milk
1 ½ tsp apple cider vinegar
½ tsp lemon juice
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp pepper
1 tsp parsley
½ tsp dill
Hawaiian Honey Wheat Buns for sandwich
Optional Toppings:
Tomato
Onion
Lettuce
Mix chick peas, buffalo sauce, mayo, garlic & onion powder and pepper in food processor. Smash any remaining chick pea bits with fork and set aside.
Wisk together all ingredients for sauce until smooth.
Cut Hawaiian Rolls in half. Spread chickpea mix over bottom half of rolls.
Layer lettuce, tomato and onion on top of mix if desired.
Drizzle sauce mixture on top of toppings. Place bun on top to finish.
