Meet our registered dietitians at Dietella

  • Founder

Growing up the oldest of four active and athletic children, Brooke’s love of health, nutrition and exercise soon became her life’s passion.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Bradley University, where she also completed her internship. After graduation, she spent seven years working as a dietitian for the grocery store Hy-Vee in Peoria, Illinois. Her experience with clients at Hy-Vee was wide-ranging. Brooke handled clients’ weight loss concerns, helped them manage their diabetes, and assisted with IBS control and food allergies. Her ever-cheerful and approachable manner quickly made her office a popular spot in the store.

Brooke continued individual counseling and added group classes, corporate nutrition presentations, grocery store nutrition tours and community events. She began appearing on TV cooking shows and radio talk shows to share recipes and offer advice. Brooke has always cherished the opportunity to help clients make the changes necessary to achieve their health goals, and now—she’s taking her talents virtual to make her services widely available.

  • Registered Dietitian

As a dietitian, Monica is passionate about helping individuals achieve their health goals through personalized, science-based nutrition strategies. She has a strong background in weight management and also has experienced working with other nutrition-related concerns such as diabetes, PCOS, high cholesterol, and others. She focuses on the unique needs of each person and empowers them to make sustainable lifestyle changes. She believes that setting specific and measurable goals is key to long-term success and that all foods fit into any way of eating. She loves talking about what can be added to your diet rather than what should be taken away- balance and moderation is key, not elimination and restriction!  Outside of work, Monica loves exploring the world through travel and hiking, appreciating the connection between movement, nature, and well-being.
